CSOS = Community Scheme Ombud Service

CSOS is a body that was born out of a need to regulate and control Community Schemes and their Management.

Prior to its establishment, the only way to resolve a dispute in a Community Scheme was to go to Arbitration, a very expensive and time consuming process. With CSOS, a generic complaint form is filled in and sent to the local CSOS office. The process of concilliation is then stared for a nominal fee.
